 Raheem and Makayla McMillan, dedicated entrepreneurs who are currently pursuing their degrees at Ivy Tech Bloomington. This dynamic couple, blessed with five wonderful children, has a profound understanding of the various challenges associated with homeownership and housing—challenges that many individuals in their community face daily. Raheem’s journey includes overcoming the barriers that accompany being formerly incarcerated, while Makayla has firsthand as a single mother, fully aware of the hardships that come with that role. Together, leveraging their unique experiences and insights into homelessness and the everyday struggles of life, they established their real estate venture, 4Sure Homes, their nonprofit organization, Hands Full of Hope Inc. Their twin objectives focus on uplifting both the community and those who have been formerly incarcerated by providing them with essential resources and needed to lead better lives. As active members of City Church, Raheem and Makayla are deeply committed to sharing their love for Christ through acts of service, using their business and nonprofit as platforms to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
